“True Christian Theology”

“But we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
[1st Corinthians 1:23-24]

True Christian theology, as I often told you, begins with Christ born of the virgin Mary as our Mediator and High Priest, and heads to Calvary. Begin where Christ began – in the Virgin’s womb, in the manger, and at His mother’s breast. For this purpose He came down, was born, lived among men, suffered, was crucified, and died, so that in every way He might present Himself to our sight. He wanted us to fix the gaze of our hearts upon Himself and thus to prevent us from clambering into strange thoughts of the roads of heaven and speculating on the view. Focus on manger and cross, for that will be a full day.
