“The Good Man”

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”
[2nd Corinthians 5:17]

As I have often said, in order to speak and judge correctly about these matters, we must carefully distinguish between a good man and a Christian (we should behave in a good manner, most certainly). Being a “right acting child of God” is a gift as much as grain and wine, and all creation. However, we do not mix and brew these things into each other. Do not let your Old Adam, your sinful nature mix with your New Adam, or the aroma and flavor will be rather unwholesome and ungodly.
